Brute-force fit against curated population sets
Pick a period, pick a combination size, and Unsupervised Analysis enumerates the top-ranked mixtures of both ancient and modern populations whose averaged coordinates best reproduce your DNA. Each ranked card spells out the three components and the percentage each one contributes to that fit.
PCA places your kit on a 2-D plot of thousands of reference populations; Hierarchical Cluster groups those populations into a tree by genetic distance. Together they show where you sit — and who you sit with.
PCA reduces each kit to two coordinates and plots it against a backdrop of thousands of populations. Hierarchical clustering then takes those same populations and builds a tree of similarity — neighbouring branches are populations whose DNA clusters tightly together.
